At WEC, health and safety is not just a requirement — it is a part of our culture. We believe it is important to go above and beyond expectations for health and safety training in the demolition & dumpster rental industry.
We take a proactive approach with our team, ensuring that employees are encouraged and given the opportunity to update existing training or take additional courses to further their professional development for our Demolition Services, Dumpster Rental, Temporary Site Fencing and Bulk Hauls across GTA, GHA & Tri-Cities.
Training & Certifications
Our team is fully WSIB certified and all of our team members undergo comprehensive health and safety training on an annual and quarterly basis.
We ensure that all government-mandated training records are up-to-date and that each team member holds the appropriate certifications for their role on the job site. Our team holds a wide range of certifications, including:
- Working at Heights Training
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- And more.

Health & Safety Policy & Program
Hazard Identification & Risk Control
- Daily FLHA, job hazard analysis, & inspections.
- Controls hierarchy: elimination, engineering, administrative, PPE.
Training & Competency
- Mandatory safety and equipment training.
- Training records maintained and audited.
Incident Reporting & Emergency Response
- Immediate reporting of incidents and near-misses.
- Emergency response plans maintained on site.
